What we store

Emails sent to a Temp Mail address: sender, subject, body and the time they arrived. They are deleted automatically 7 days after they arrive. Attachments are not kept.

We don’t ask for your name, real email or a password. Your saved addresses live in your own browser’s storage.

Who can read an inbox

Anyone holding an address’s restore link can read it. A name you choose yourself can be picked by someone else too, so use a random address for anything private. Don’t use Temp Mail for banking or accounts you need to recover.

Advertising and analytics

This site shows ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalised ads at adssettings.google.com. We also use basic analytics to count visits.

Browser extension

The Temp Mail extension stores your addresses and read status in your browser. If you turn on the fill button, it looks for email and code fields on the pages you visit; nothing from those pages is sent to us.
